Happy Birthday to Me!

I just came across this bit of wonderfully good news on Watch with Kristin:

Exclusive News: Studio 60 Picked Up For Full Season
Nov 9, 2006 12:30 AM

There's only one thing to say to all those recent rumors of the cancellation of Studio 60: Pttthhhhhht (or however you might write the sound of a tongue sticking out).

Both NBC and Warner Brothers have now confirmed that the ratings-challenged (but fan-adored) Studio 60 has received a "back nine" order, meaning the series will complete a full 22 episodes for its freshman season.

For those of you who have not yet discovered this television gem, I highly recommend it. It is the latest offering from the brilliant mind of Aaron Sorkin, the genius who brought us Sports Night and West Wing. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip airs Monday nights at 10pm on NBC--watch it!!

I wish I could blame my forgetfulness on being a distracted med student, but I was never any good at remembering birthday BEFORE i went to med school soooooooo..

The Contessa’s mother, the daughter of an aristocratic British family, had run away with an Italian Count after they had met at a tea. Their families had not approved. They fled Europe, leaving their families behind, and landed in North America. They married immediately and within months were joyfully expecting the arrival of a child.
