Boycott American Apparel

(Or don't.) Click on the title above to read the article "American Apparel not progressive, just perverse" and decide for yourself.

If that report from knowmore.org is a closer look at the company, then they can't see the forest from the trees. Anyone who actually bothers to sit down and read the entire thing will notice that it conveniently glosses over quotes and fact that come out to Charney's credit, while showering anything against him in analysis and interpretation. It might have been compiled objectively, but it's definitely not fair and balanced, and other blogs that actually know the industry are starting to call them on it: http://www.watchmojo.com/fashion/blog/?p=165

Spencer,
I actually _did_ read the entire report from knowmore.org (http://www.knowmore.org/index.php/American_Apparel%2C_LLC) and found it interesting (if a bit long) and quite informative. I don't necessarily agree with your view that the report "conveniently glosses over quotes and fact that come out to Charney's credit," but I do appreciate you commenting here and sharing your viewpoint nonetheless. I have not yet read the article you gave the link to, but I will.

Thanks for visiting Timely Manor.
