a brief update

Well, I realize I haven't posted for a while. I've been busy working, hanging out with "my kids," trying to recover from the accident (still hurting a lot), and looking for a car. Also spent a weekend in Chico with Mom, visiting my big brother and his kids. All in all, a pretty nice weekend, but the hours spent sitting in the car definitely took a toll on my still-recovering body. Now it's Memorial Day weekend and I opted out of a weekend at Tahoe with the WOs and SOs to spend time with Mom and my "little" brother, who had a rare weekend off from his position as Rural Nevada Political Director for Governor Bill Richardson's presidential campaign. It's been nice, just relaxing at Mom's, sharing in the preparation and eating of meals, and just being together. I am blessed to have a family that I truly enjoy spending time with.
